General Information
- Slogan: "みーーーんな躍れるダンスゲーム！" (Miーーーnna odoreru DANCE GAME!)
- The male character is named Yo, and the female character is named Meguru.
- During the location test, the MASTER difficulty was named EXTREME instead.
- The Motion Save Function was implemented on March 16th, 2022, which allows players to record their own dances played in Performance Style and view them later on a smartphone or other device. Only one song per play can be saved on the total result screen.
- This option is currently not available on the North American version of the game.
- The North American version requests the player to input their date of birth (month and year) every time a new game is started - even if you already have player data created on an eamusement pass.
- There is also a bug in the North American version in which the game will not accept a player name starting with the letter A. This has yet to be fixed, however players can use the official website to change their name.
- One of the only two active BEMANI games at the time of announcement that did not appear at the 2023 installment of the KONAMI Arcade Championship, along with ノスタルジア Op.3.

Gauge Unlock Event
This event started on June 3rd, 2022. A special gauge will appear at the end of your credit, which can be filled the more you play DANCE aROUND. Once it is filled, a new song/chart is unlocked. The amount of gauge earned is not determined by play results, but instead by the game mode played:

The DANCE aROUND × DanceDanceRevolution 2022夏のMUSIC CHOICE event began on August 10th, 2022. Players can obtain MUSIC CHOICE by playing credits of DANCE aROUND, DanceDanceRevolution, and DANCERUSH STARDOM to unlock crossovers for the first two series. For more information, please see the event page.
Songs were unlockable until January 30th, 2023. All the songs were made available by default from September 6th, 2023, except for ENDYMION, which was added to the EXTRA STAGE folder instead.
