• According to Keiichi Ueno, the SWAN K alias was inspired by Fujiko Fujio F, the pen name of the late mangaka Hiroshi Fujimoto (1933-1996) who, along with his partner Motoo Abiko (Fujiko Fujio A), formed the duo mangaka pair Fujio Fujiko, who created many popular manga both together and separate. Among their most popular series include Obake no Q-taro, Perman, Doraemon, and Esper Mami.
  • As such, the SWAN K alias references the absence of Toshiaki Komiya, the other half of D.J.SWAN.
