The event allows players to unlock FLOOR contest songs from the SOUND VOLTEX series on other BEMANI games during limited time periods of two weeks each. The FLOOR INFECTION event requires the player to play several rounds of SOUND VOLTEX (usually up to eight) until all crossovers are unlocked in the specified BEMANI game. Each event contains up to three songs and lasts generally two weeks; after the determined time period, crossovers cannot be unlocked anymore. Past FLOOR INFECTION events may be temporarily revived.
