- According to Naoki, TSUGARU is the "instrumental version" of TSUGARU (APPLE MIX), which also appears in DDRMAX2 -DanceDanceRevolution 7thMIX- as a Challenge Mode exclusive. TSUGARU (APPLE MIX) was made normally playable in DanceDanceRevolution EXTREME.
- A remix of TSUGARU by OR-IF-IS, titled Tsugaru OR-IF-IS Mix, appears in DanceDanceRevolution UNIVERSE.
Trivia
- The brothers in TSUGARU's video are named Shinichi, Yuichi, and Eiichi, as noted on the DanceDanceRevolution EXTREME weekly journal.
- In DanceDanceRevolution, TSUGARU's BPM is displayed as 165. However, towards the end of the song, it slows down gradually until 94 BPM.
- TSUGARU received a Single BEGINNER chart in Dancing Stage EuroMIX2.
- TSUGARU's DanceDanceRevolution charts (with the exception of the BEGINNER and BASIC charts) were modified in DanceDanceRevolution X, fixing their major quantization issues.

This is a new song by RevenG and DE-SIRE, inheriting the fusion of world folk music and dance music that has gained strong support on the DDR series.
This time, with the theme of "Aomori", I attempted a musical collaboration with Tsugaru jongara bushi, featuring "Tsugaru shamisen". If there is an opportunity for the next time, should I go for a fusion with Asian music outside of Japan?... That's what I think.

TSUGARU features an authentic Tsugaru shamisen combined with dance music throughout the song.
The name Re-venge or Reven-G exists to express the identity, "I want to convey traditional Japanese music to everyone through music games".
I believe that the collaboration between pop music, which uses modern technology, and traditional Japanese music, are elements which express feelings of strong originality among people around the world, and I also currently plan to release traditional music from various regions of Japan, so please wait for that time to come!

"TSUGARU" by RevenG vs. DE-SIRE is a collaboration between RevenG (MATSURI JAPAN/exotic ethnic) and DE-SIRE (TRIP MACHINE/Healing Vision). This duo combines their strengths to deliver a tribal song that is organic and electronic at the same time. The dance steps are tricky, so watch your timing!

This character is from the home version of 12 Iroha. They were created by aonisai, much like Kurota-chan.
The design of parts of their faces are too nice, and it's one of my favorite characters.
While having such identity, how did they come to the arcade first as a character for a different song?... I was worried about that.
But we decided that these brothers perfectly fit TSUGARU! I was able to cross them over.
When I listened with the song, I'm still glad to have the jongara updated version.
I also received materials from the DDR team, so the background looks cool.
The movie's spring-styled chonmage animations were revolutionary, so I was able to use the illustrations and materials.
When your performance reaches the climax, I'm sure your hair will also jump.

The first image is "RevenG vs DE-SIRE", so I immediately created it with the feeling of a "showdown". But, it doesn't seem to fit the atmosphere of the movie. I like the intense image....
By the way, the chonmage movie was initially planned to have fireworks appear above the "chonmages".
The ninja's "stop" immediately resonated with me.

The song itself is very nice, so it was easy to direct the images. I think the movement of the ninja stop-motions, and the sudden appearance of a nobleman (?) have a nice taste.

Aomori means Tsugaru shamisen.
When I hear the sounds of a shamisen, I remember a folk song TV show which aired on Sunday mornings at 6 o'clock.
Well. This is a danceable folk song, which brilliantly fuses shamisen and dance! It's different.

My grandfather also played it often, but I've never heard such a cool one as this.

The sharp tone of the shamisen raises the tension.

It was during the final stages of production, so the schedule was quite unreasonable.
