Well, I think of it this way: lyrics are words in a song spoken or sang specifically for that song, sound bites are snippets of words or interjections that usually <i>don't carry any meaning whatsoever</i> and are used simply for effect. If you want to see lyrics that barely count as true lyrics, see [[Gigadelic|gigadelic]] and [[Second Heaven]], anything significantly more mindless than those are usually considered sound bites. | |||
My general rule that I just made up right now is that if every single word in a song isn't identified or explained, it is not ready to have a lyrics section in the article.
