The song I was in charge of this time is "Guarana" by Sukima Switch.
It is powerful, refreshing, and heartwarming, perfect for the current hot season.
When I started working on it, my first question was, "What the heck is a 'guarana' anyway?".
I immediately began researching this important keyword and found that it is a carbonated drink (cola color) originally produced in Brazil.
So, although I was impressed, I thought that it would be difficult to make the most of that image in the illustration.
The lyrics also have a strong romantic tone, so I decided to GO with my usual original worldview, with the image of "sweet and sour soda-like love".
A self-sufficient life on a tranquil ranch.
Jake is a young man who loves to fly in his beloved plane, GUARANA, which he inherited from his late father.
He can fly through the sky better than anyone else, yet he is too shy to say what he wants to say in front of the woman he loves.
She is Claire, the daughter of a beautiful landowner.
She has bred many thoroughbreds with pedigrees, and they have won many awards.
Jake always thinks about her when he is flying in the sky with his feelings for her.
What will happen to the distance between these two people who are in such different positions to love?
And so on.
This time, the song had a clearer tone than usual, and the lyrics were very well told.
