- According to GOLI's comments in the Q&A corner of the beatmania IIDX 4th style official website, the character in Holic's overlays resembled a certain DJ who performed at a club he used to attend.
- Holic is a hidden revival in DDRMAX2 -DanceDanceRevolution 7thMIX-. It can be unlocked by reaching level 13, or using an operator code to unlock it via 3rd PASS.
- From DanceDanceRevolution EXTREME onwards, it is playable by default.

This is TaQ's Holic, a.k.a. "HARD TEC", his latest techno song.
By the way, I received questions asking "how do you pronounce TaQ?", so the correct answer is "Taku".
Q is pronounced "ku" in German, right? TaQ spent his childhood years in Germany, and it seems to be his favorite nickname since then.
Many people also felt that TaQ's songs, such as Holic, have a certain German atmosphere to them, so perhaps it's from that background.
DanceDanceRevolution
This is a techno number by TaQ, who also created "era". The melody here is further removed, giving listeners a mechanical and aggressive impression. The gradually increasing tension creates an anxious feeling, while the subtle and profound synthesizer sounds make you feel a mysterious comfort. The last section immediately fades out from the continuous patterned phrases, leaving trailing notes like they're left behind.
