Lyrics

With a heavy heart, I hear another tragic tale.
Humans fail.
Is there no end to this pain, as history repeats again.
Try in vain.

Yet hope is resilient, our dreams are rekindled,
everyday a new life comes our way.
A brighter existence awaits us the instant we decide,
that we can make new beginnings.

Now, let us reach out with hearts open wide
And let's believe in our future.
May we find a wiser way.
Let our children awake to horizons of promise.

Our time has come to make a change.
We'll prove that there can be,
A sweeter destiny.

The path of brand new beginnings.

May we find a wiser way
Let's unite in fate for we shall rewind our story.

Our chance, it's time to change the world.
Our choice, it's time to heal the world.

Trivia

Song Production Information

I was asked by L.E.D. to create a self-homage to the song "Prince on a star" from the original IIDX for Rootage.
It was the first time I created a song for IIDX in around 10 years.
I was working on it with great emotion, remembering those days and wondering if it would be accepted by today's players. However, due to various reasons, I was unable to finish it in time for Rootage!
Therefore, the timing of this homage was not perfect. But I hope that both those who know the original song and those who don't will enjoy it.

One day in winter.

I opened my email and saw the words "Prince on a star" attached to it, along with some reference material and a familiar picture.

I couldn't believe my eyes, closed the email, and then opened it again.

"This is a sequel to 'Prince on a star'."

The letter said.

...???

I felt like I had the name of a song I was emotionally attached to.

A reality. (Hye.)

When I was a student who didn't know anything about the future.
That was a song that I played a lot of times.
I loved the somewhat sad melody and the animation of the blue wolf boy.

To my precious memories and to the people who became my precious memories as well.

And to the friends with whom I will share these memories.

That's what I had in mind when I made this.

There are references to the original story in all of the animations, so please look for the branching differences as well! ☆彡
