• MAX.(period)'s banner appears unused in the DanceDanceRevolution SuperNOVA data.
• MAX.(period) appears in DanceDanceRevolution (2014) as the ENCORE EXTRA STAGE song of the Replicant D-ignition event, achieved by obtaining a AA or greater on EGOISM 440. The RISKY, REVERSE, and 1.5x Hi-SPEED modifiers were forced when playing the song. Clearing it would unlock "The Dark One" as a selectable dancer.
  • As of Replicant D-ignition's 2nd Phase, MAX.(period) was moved down to EXTRA STAGE, but could still be accessed as an ENCORE EXTRA STAGE by obtaining a AA or greater on EGOISM 440. By obtaining a AA or greater on MAX.(period) as the EXTRA STAGE would immediately trigger Over The “Period” as the ENCORE EXTRA STAGE and unlock RINON as a selectable dancer.
    • MAX.(period)'s CHALLENGE charts are available as of Replicant D-ignition's 2nd Phase, as well.
  • From August 6th to December 23rd, 2015, MAX.(period) could be unlocked via the EXTRA ATTACK unlocking system, after unlocking EGOISM 440. Note that the SURVIVED BONUS meter had to be filled on BEGINNER, then BASIC, DIFFICULT, and then finally EXPERT.

  • This was previously hinted by Yuichi Asami during an autograph session on July 7th, 2012, where when asked if it was time to port MAX.(period) to arcades, he replied "That's what I think, too. Recently, the difficulty level is increasing. If it was ported, it would be even harder." [1].
• During the 180 BPM section of the song, MAX.(period)'s charts (except for BEGINNER) use portions of PARANOiA's charts.
  • MAX.(period)'s new CHALLENGE charts use parts of PARANOiA (X-Special)'s charts.
  • Coincidentally, if one were to play PARANOiA and MAX.(period) at the same time, they'll both synchronize at said portion [2].
• In MAX.(period)'s video, a video clip of PARANOiA being selected and played on DanceDanceRevolution CS (Japan) is shown.
• MAX.(period)'s jacket and new background image in the video feature the Wii dance mat, instead of the PlayStation / PlayStation 2 dance mat used in its original background and banner.
  • MAX.(period)'s video is also now played in the background of a dark blue-recolored version of the REPLICANT background dance stage and is not full-screen.
• When MAX.(period) is played and cleared as an ENCORE EXTRA STAGE, the "CLEARED" shutter is delayed by about nine seconds (compared to when played on any other stage), to synchronize it with the sound effect of the shutter in the song.
  • This delay is present from DanceDanceRevolution A onwards, regardless of the stage MAX.(period) is played on. The delay also caused all of MAX.(period)'s charts to have their GROOVE RADAR values slightly lowered due to the song's gameplay length increasing.
