According to Tomosuke in his twitter, Macuilxochitl was originally a song made for IIDX. However, the jubeat staff wanted to have a jazzy classic piano song in their installment. The prototype of Macuilxochitl has a faster tempo and used four pianos, and it became Almagest in AC SIRIUS after remixed by Galdeira.
