I'm certain that the songs in Invention were originally created as piano études, and there are basically many compositions for the left and right hands, but Bach is also known for countermelodies. The changes from right hand to left hand, and left hand to right hand, are both musical and mathematical, and I think the tension and release of the two parts interacting with each other have maximum talent.<br> | |||
