Since it's been a long time since I've done a IIDX song, I thought I'd go online and do some research. I read a few BBSes and I was surprised; a number of my first songs from 1999 are still pretty popular! I was very happy to see that [[gentle stress]] was especially popular, and that people are still playing it a lot even now. dj TAKA asked for a "mysterious drum'n'bass" song, so I, D.J.SWAN, make a second appearance here.

The two songs I made under the SWAN alias were a collaborative effort with a drum'n'bass DJ friend of mine, "K" (who wanted to remain anonyoums) around 1995. They were both written taking some of his suggestions to heart. After all, you buy rice cakes from the rice cake store. This time as well, as a nod to dance floor fans, there's lots of good percussion throughout the song. Do you like it? I truly hope you'll enjoy it.

Experts produce the best results. This time, we also changed our mindset to a dancefloor, and it's filled with sounds which seem fun to press. Does it feel good? I'd be happy if you're having fun.

A few days, I thought, "Let's try doing this again!" and headed down to the game center. ... yeah, right! When did it get this hard? Can you all really clear this stuff? Isn't this bad for you? Since it doesn't even sound like music when I play it, I had to ask this guy who looked really good to play my song for me ...
A few days ago, I tried playing it after a long time! And I went to the arcade..... it was impossible! Was it this hard? Can everyone clear this?<br>
Doesn't it feel bad? It didn't sound like the song at all, so I asked a nice guy nearby to play it for me...

I can press all seven keys at once with the start button and ad-lib it, right?
Is it OK to ad-lib and press the 7KEY and START buttons, or not?

I just remembered this, but TAKA's the one that came up with the title "gentle stress", isn't he?
I suddenly remembered this, but it was TAKA who thought of the title "Gentle Stress", wasn't it? Am I wrong?

Song Production Information

D.J.SWAN

It's been a long time since I created a IIDX song, so I was surprised when I did some research and checked each BBS before I entered the studio. The first few songs I created in 1999 are still around!
The video and score settings for Gentle Stress were especially great, and I was really happy to see many people still playing it.
From dj TAKA's request for "mysterious DRUM'N'BASS", D.J.SWAN has once again appeared here.

Both songs under the SWAN alias were created together with a drum'n'bass DJ, K (who wishes to remain anonymous), a friend whom I've worked with since 1995. If anything, the songs I've created were mainly his ideas.
Experts produce the best results. This time, we also changed our mindset to a dancefloor, and it's filled with sounds which seem fun to press. Does it feel good? I'd be happy if you're having fun.

A few days ago, I tried playing it after a long time! And I went to the arcade..... it was impossible! Was it this hard? Can everyone clear this?
Doesn't it feel bad? It didn't sound like the song at all, so I asked a nice guy nearby to play it for me...

Is it OK to ad-lib and press the 7KEY and START buttons, or not?

I suddenly remembered this, but it was TAKA who thought of the title "Gentle Stress", wasn't it? Am I wrong?

Video Production Information

MAYA

This was my first attempt to create a movie for a song.
Anyways, it's refreshing. And speedy.
Deeper, deeper, and even deeper.
It seemed like there were many fleeting and clear parts within the song's intensity.
While such parts are hidden within it... they now immediately and comfortably advance from a dark place to somewhere beautiful and clear.
I selfishly included "something secret" from the song title's image.

Personally... the notecharts feel unique~.
I was very happy when I continued to combo it.
