Lyrics

Romaji

This is a song that makes you excited just by listening to it! Play it earnestly!

PON

I am PON, who was in charge of the charts again.
If you put freckles on a Pop-kun, it will look like a hamburger.
Even so, I thought the Pop-kun looked prettier like that.

This song is a band sound to the fullest,
but how can I express this band sound with pop'n charts in such a fun way!?
I remember arranging them with that in mind.

Also, what kind of placement would be appropriate to make the springy rhythm fun to hit!?
I tried to arrange them with that in mind.

And then, let's make the charts a bit incoherent
for the sake of giving the last guitar an ad-lib style!
I tried to arrange them with that in mind.

Also, freckles are more likely to form in people with less melanin in their bodies...
And also, ultraviolet rays received in childhood have a great effect on freckles after becoming an adult...
And also, sunscreen cream has almost no effect unless you use it a lot.
I tried to arrange them with that in mind.

And that's why I'm afraid of the ultraviolet rays outside, so let's play pop'n at an arcade!!
Hooraaaaaaay.

Wow!(*▽*)This is so cool!! But the times go by quickly, and it's already been 12 years since its release. It is older than pop'n! I still can't grasp the rhythm of the Pop-kuns at the beginning.

eimy

When I think about it now, the lyrics are amazing.
When this song was popular, I had no interest in it because I was really into a different line of music, but now I feel like slapping myself for being so foolish. It's a cute song~

kinoko

Hm, nostalgic.
When I was singing this song at karaoke, I was still a kid who just got her school bag.
So I couldn't imagine what "heavyweight love" was, and I thought it was something like "heavyweight = big body = love with a pro-wrestler or sumo wrestler".
I would like to ask Daniel and Mameshiba for the answer later.

Otsu

It is a love song. At that time, I couldn't hear the lyrics, so I thought it was a song about freckles...

wac

I was reminiscing about my youth, around the time of their major label debut, when I was listening to their first album in the car on the way to the pedestrian mall, thinking, "What a great band they are!".
There's no way for the current staff to not know about the relationship with Mary and JUDY after that.
This song was, at the time, something that I wondered why the theme of a Meiji-era swordsman was named "Freckles".
I thought that "cheek scratch" or "topknot" or even "short cut" would be more appropriate.
Rumor has it that when the offer came to sing the theme song for an anime tie-in, it was because anime was associated with an image of people not caring about freckles or favoring a flat nose, or something.
I don't know if it's true or not, but famous songs are born quite nicely, aren't they?

Mameshiba

This song is actually a song that I have a great emotional attachment to.
The first CD albums I bought as a student... didn't have this song in it.
When I thought about buying the one that had it, I mistakenly bought the previous two albums.
So what's the point? Huh? What do you mean by "feelings"...
You can probably reproduce the lyrics if you put on Mimi and Frog Pop-kuns.

Don't tell anyone I'm forcing myself to sing karaoke.
Daniel was singing too.
