I'm pretty sure the North American version doesn't use the eAmusement participation service (just normal eAmusement that was the state of things prior to DDR 2013), so therefore it doesn't need eAmusement connectivity to boot up. I've heard tell of at least one D&B location having connection issues at one point, but it didn't stop their machines from starting up. It'd also help to explain why there have been almost zero license additions since the game's release. --Thunderbird (talk) 02:48, 16 December 2017 (UTC)

Why is Canada removed? Put it back!
I am disappointed about Remy editors implying that the United States and North America are the same. They are not! Canada had to wait over five months after USA before getting its first (and as of today, its sole) Dance Dance Revolution A arcade machine. To imply otherwise with a "North America" release date of July 6 is dishonest and misleading. It doesn't matter if Thunderbird says that one build was made for the Americas, as Canada got it much later, and no machines were sold outside of North America.
I request that the release dates be reverted to this:
* Release dates:
** Japan, Asia: March 30th, 2016
** Korea: April 4th, 2016
** United States: July 6th, 2016
** Canada: December 5th, 2016
** Europe: December 15th, 2017
If you can separate (South) Korea from the rest of Asia, then you can separate Canada from USA. Please stop lumping Canada and the United States together as North America, unless they have the same release date. In the "General Information / Changes" section, it would be good to note that an American company (Dave & Buster's) brought DDR A to Canada, as opposed to a Canadian distributor. Please understand and stop making these unwelcome edits. --LABcrab (talk) 06:18, 21 May 2019 (UTC)
