Donyale Renee who has lived in Atlanta, GA since 1995 has performed several private events for former Atlanta Mayor Bill Campbell while being signed to Platinum Atlanta Records (1995-1997). Donyale was a co-writer of the campaign song for the former Mayor of Atlanta Shirley Franklin (2002) which was used throughout her campaign.

She's sung lead with Atlanta's own Corporate Band's the Golden Touch Band, GT All-stars and The Atlanta All-stars.
