I know most of the songs in beatmania III are from beatmania, but a few songs were never in the original series, like the 3rd style crossovers in APPEND CORE REMIX. There was a licensed PS2 game back in 2003 that was based on the anime.manga Maohoromatic, which contained a few of the series' songs in a beatmania mini-game, as seen here: http://www.nicovideo.jp/watch/sm3697054
