* Last CS-exclusive beatmania game on the Sony PlayStation.
* Song list consists entirely of licenses, none of which have ever appeared on another beatmania game.
* All song titles and artists on the SOUND SELECT screen are written in katakana.
* Only beatmania game where the default lane color is ''white'', and that also allows the lane color to be changed (can be switched to black in the options).

* On the main menu, choose DISC CHANGE, then switch over to one of the following games:

** [[CS bm GOTTA|beatmania APPEND GOTTAMIX]]
* Doing so will allow you to use the undocumented features described below when playing a song in that game.

=== Autoplay ===
* At any time during a song, press and then release START to turn on Autoplay. Press START and release again at any time to turn off Autoplay.
** Autoplay is available for all game modes (GAME START, TRAINING, and FREE) and will remain enabled between songs in GAME START and FREE modes until the player goes back to the title screen.

=== Quit Mid-Song ===
* At any time during a song, press both START and SELECT to quit the song and jump to the results screen.
** This command is available in GAME START and FREE modes.
** Be aware that using this command causes a bug where incorrect audio is played during sounds and music.
*** However, the effects of this bug disappear when the player either returns to the title screen or plays a song.
