== Profile ==

Hirofumi Taniguchi (born June 12th, 1967 in Hiroshima, Japan) is a former in-house KONAMI artist who provided a few songs for the early beatmania series. Prior to those games, he was part of KONAMI's music group Konami Kukeiha Club since the early 90's; his earliest known separate work was for the 1993 Super Famicom game ''Mouryou Senki Madara 2''. He was also a large contributor to the first ''Suikoden'' game, and did the soundtrack of ''Contra Hard Corps''. Along with Masanori Adachi and Taro Kudo, he was also part of the music group THELONIOUS MONKEES, who together provided two songs for [[AC bm III|beatmania III]].

Hirofumi left KONAMI sometime in the mid-1990's to work for Love-de-Lic, Inc. After the company went bankrupt in 2000, he then composed music for Skip Ltd., itself made up of ex-Love-de-Lic, Inc. staff members. Hirofumi currently works at Onion Games.
