This is a song that was written for BeForU's first album.

I gave a demo of this song to Riyu Kosaka, who later came up with the lyrics, which I felt were very mature and realistic, something I had never seen in her lyrics before, and subsequently linked the arrangement to that world. I aimed for a sorrowful J-POP number, which is the direct opposite of [[LOVE SHINE]].

The melody was somehow filled with melancholy, with resonating elements which deeply impact the hearts of people. When the song was completed, I repeatedly listened to it by myself and fell in love with it.

Since the song title is SHOOTING STAR, I tried to fill this MOVIE with stars.

I'm not the type of person to carefully listen to the lyrics when listening to music.<br>
So, I didn't think it was a heartbreak song for a while, with her "energetic" singing voice and rhythms. <small>I'm sorry for not being a musical person.</small>

After I properly heard the lyrics.<br>
It turned out that's not only about heartbreak, but it has a cool and "positive" feeling!<br>
I liked it even more.
