Despite the show's very famous opening theme, the music during this chase scene (?) should have you guessing briefly which song it is.

The development staff grew up watching TAIYO NI HOERO, and have very deep, fond memories of the show. Curiously, the recording for the song was finished at a shocking speed.

A lot of club artists recently have been remixing and remaking music from this era, and now beatmania gives it a shot.

I searched various TAIYO NI HOERO fansites on the web looking for material, and in a fit of nostalgia forgot about doing my job and instead expanded my knowledge about the show.

For example, I learned that one detective's nickname was Lugger apparently? My memory from my early school years is hazy...

I borrowed the detective show video they used for IIDX from [[Gyo Eguchi|VJ GYO]] for some material, and again forgot about doing my job as I enjoyed watching it by myself. I had no idea there were that many interesting unused scenes.
