I started being interested in dance music during the late '90s.
As I listened to music such as techno, house, and breakbeats, I started to create my own dance music style, and I think it was when I started to say arrogant things like "I'm capable of making 4-beat songs".
At that moment in a Nishi-Azabu club, I encountered a certain shocking track.
And its title was "SAMBA DE JANEIRO".

I'll never forget it. The way it took the dancefloor to become excited at that moment wasn't normal.
It was probably already an anthem to those familiar with Latin-styled dance music.
Those who stayed in the lounge, immediately raced to the dancefloor and started dancing crazily. I've seen scenes of people racing to the dancefloor during anthems many times since then, but nothing compares to this.

I selfishly assumed that listening to dance music in clubs, not discos, was cool, and this song unbelievably shocked me. The power to sweep a place's atmosphere with just one song. I compared the potential of these tracks, with a sweet and melodious atmosphere different to techno and house, with my own direction.

Nearly 10 years had passed since then, and this time, I decided to remix it for IIDX 13, and this track, whose scene immediately excited the dancefloor, had a big influence on me afterwards, that it felt difficult to eliminate songs which influenced me.
As a result, I think this song is a hard house Latin remix which is quite faithful to the original song, and doesn't remove its distinct flavor.
By all means, I'd like you to fully play those famous brass phrases in IIDX.

[[Xiatian|Xi]] "SAMBAAA!!! YEAH!"

La la~ la la lalala~ lala~~♪

Well, this is ultimately a great song choice. I'm about to bring this up. As expected from MUSASHI. Lion.
Also, the programmer [[Takamasa Tochigi|TOCHI]] (2△ years old: Male) yelled too much while playing it during production.
