Staff Information

Profile

Takao Yamamoto is a designer who contributed to several GuitarFreaks & DrumMania videos, most notably for BeForU songs, creating the chibi illustrations of the band members. He also contributed to pop'n music for several years as a designer, and even as a chart designer a few times. His artstyle is characterized by thick lines and tends to lean towards either chibi or rough - almost monstrous - design, and usually repeating their motions back and forth.

Although he rarely contributes to BEMANI nowadays, Takao designed jackets for Asaki songs until the REFLEC BEAT series' end, and was a guest artist for a single illustration on the pop'n music éclale website.
