* A slightly different arrangement of 5.1.1. appears on the History of beatmania IIDX album.
* 5.1.1. received ANOTHER charts in beatmania IIDX 7th style. The version is rearranged and is also longer.
** This version can't be found in any game soundtrack.
** It was also used when 5.1.1. gained new HYPER charts in beatmania IIDX 12 HAPPY SKY (see Trivia).
* A sequel to 5.1.1., titled 5.8.8., appears in beatmania IIDX 10th style.

Trivia
* 5.1.1. is a reference to the address of the former KONAMI GM Division building, 5-1-1, Higashihara, Zama City, Kanagawa, Japan (currently KONAMI Sports Life). The old room where the beatmania IIDX games was made was named "S.D.Z" (Sound Design shitsu Zama). The staff later moved to a new room down the hall, numbered 588 (which is the name of 5.1.1.'s sequel, 5.8.8.).
** The mention of "pork bun" on the song comments for 5.1.1. is a reference to the Japanese pork bun chain stores 551 HORAI.
* 5.1.1. received LIGHT7/LIGHT14 charts in beatmania IIDX 5th style CS. These LIGHT charts are CS exclusive.
* 5.1.1. received brand-new ANOTHER charts in 7th style, which are significantly more difficult than the NORMAL and HYPER charts.
** 5.1.1. also gained new HYPER charts in HAPPY SKY, which is rated a 6. The old HYPER charts are now the NORMAL charts, and are still rated at Level 1.
*** The HYPER charts have 511 notes, a reference to 5.1.1.'s name.
*** The Double NORMAL chart has a few notes moved in order to prevent chords consisting of the 2P 1st key and turntable or the 1P turntable and 7th key, but is otherwise identical to the old Double HYPER chart.
* 5.1.1. is one of three songs that has appeared in every beatmania IIDX arcade version since the original beatmania IIDX (along with R3 and GRADIUSIC CYBER).
* 5.1.1. is the only song to be used more than once as the only initial unlock in the early beatmania IIDX CS games (in beatmania IIDX 3rd style CS, beatmania IIDX 5th style CS, and beatmania (2006)).
* 5.1.1. received a BEGINNER and a Double HEAVY chart in DanceDanceRevolution EXTREME.
** The Double HEAVY chart in DDRMAX -DanceDanceRevolution- was a copy of the Double STANDARD chart.
* 5.1.1. was still present in the location test of DanceDanceRevolution X, with its new foot ratings.
* 5.1.1.'s Single NORMAL chart was used in the trial version of beatmania IIDX INFINITAS until February 17th, 2016, when the song was changed to MIRACLE MEETS' Single ANOTHER chart.
* With the re-rating of its Single NORMAL chart from Level 1 to 2 in beatmania IIDX 27 HEROIC VERSE, 5.1.1.'s Double NORMAL chart is one of the two Double NORMAL charts that's still rated Level 1 in an arcade beatmania IIDX title, the other being quick master (reform version).
* 5.1.1.'s charts were re-rated in beatmania IIDX INFINITAS (2020) on April 20th, 2022.

I noticed that something was missing after recording this time. That is, the AMBIENT series that started with Beginning of life, and I rushed to make such a song. As the production of the visuals became more pronounced, I gave the song a darker, gloomier atmosphere, one where hope and relief were nowhere to be seen.
The origin of the name "5.1.1." (not related to pork buns) came from my image for this song, in which an old man hits the heavy door of the room 511 and walks on a creaky floor.

* 5.1.1. received an Another chart in beatmania IIDX 7th style. The song is rearranged and is a deal bit longer.
DanceDanceRevolution
** The same new rearrangement was used when the song gained a new Hyper chart in beatmania IIDX 12 HAPPY SKY (see Trivia).
A beautiful piano melody is arranged on top of a quiet, lo-fi, narrow ground beat.
* A sequel to this song, 5.8.8., appears in beatmania IIDX 10 style.
Various synthesizer sounds sublimate them in a modern style.
The sounds of that melody will always remain in your ears.

DDRMAX -DanceDanceRevolution-
You have unlocked the song "5.1.1." by dj nagureo. This is a perfect ambient chill-out song that is relaxing to play.

* 5.1.1. gained an Another on 7th Style, which is significantly more difficult than the Normal/Hyper charts.
Video Production Information
** 5.1.1. also gained a new Hyper chart on HAPPY SKY, which is rated a 6. The only Hyper chart is now the Normal chart, and is still rated at Level 1.
VJ GYO
* 5.1.1. is one of the three songs in every IIDX arcade version (along with R3 and GRADIUSIC CYBER).
I went to shoot this movie after I listened to the unfinished song and heard about the concept and image from dj nagureo. I only had one day to shoot, so I wasn't able to shoot the protagonist, an old man, and his home (the room 511) for this song's background setting. I ended doing a first person view of an old man.
* 5.1.1. is the only song to be used more than once as the only unlock from the get-go in the early IIDX CS games (beatmania IIDX 3rd style CS, beatmania IIDX 5th style CS, and beatmania US).
Feel his dream of a familiar scenery while he snooze, but it's not a real scenery. People and animals don't appear in the movie, as they don't come into his usual sight.
Then it's easy to imagine the room 511 as a room of an apartment, but the other rooms must be empty. The room number becomes a mere formality.
Nevertheless, the old man continues to live in room 511. I wonder if the number 511 holds any meaning for him?
