* ON is a unit made up of vocalists MAKO and NORI. This is their only beatmania IIDX appearance.
* Get on Beat's charts were created by dj TAKA himself.
** It also marks his first BEMANI song he wrote the lyrics for himself.
* Based on VJ GYO's [https://p.eagate.573.jp/game/2dx/27/newsong/song53.html video production comments] for [[27th style]], Get on Beat's video was filmed on August 24th, 1999.

"ON" is a temporary unit formed for IIDX 2nd style.
Whether or not they reunite depends on everyone's fan support.
The sound and video production are usually done separately, but this song was an experiment in doing both at once, and I think the recording process was a lot of fun and enjoyable.
Since the video was completed quite well, I wonder if some people may have mistaken ON as actual new artists?

Worst of all, all I had prepared was a camera and a tripod, and I had no plan at all...
To make things worse, I was over an hour and a half late for my first meeting with MAKO and NORI from ON...
Hooray!

"On" is a special unit formed for the duration of IIDX 2nd style production. Whether or not they'll come back is up to the fans, I suppose. The sound and video production work are usually done fairly separately from each other, but this song was an experiment in doing both at once, and I think everyone had fun by the time recording was finished. Since the video is so well done, I wonder if people might think than On are a new up-and-coming musical group?
The two members of ON have a special present for their fans!
It's a "Get on Beat" lyrics card, written through trial-and-error on the recording day!
Memorize it and sing along while playing the song!
beatmania IIDX difficulty rated from 1 to 7 in 2nd and 3rd style.

We did filming for this song on a Sunday in the second half of August; recording occured at Q-STUDIO, in the Nerima area of the Tokyo metro area. It's a music video that focuses on the vocals, which is one of the most basic techniques in music videos. This was my first time actually doing this sort of thing, though, so I was very careful throughout the entire process. ... even though i say that, the day before was the day we filmed Second Style (Hip Hop Paradise), so I'd ended up doing all the work I was going to do that day during the night, and didn't get much sleep ... nevertheless, I took a nap, and ended up oversleeping, and when I woke up, the fine summer weather (intense heat) of the previous day was even stronger than before ... the worst thing was, there didn't seem to be any real plan, and the only thing we'd done in way of preparation was get a camera and tripod ... While looking for wheels for the tripod, I made myself over half an hour late for my first meeting with Mako and Nori from On ... however ... (about two weeks later) when they show it on the AM show for the 37th time, we've established the panel that introduced the tie-up artists, but two people that saw the Get on Beat video might start looking for On just because of that video.
