* MAX 300 is the first song in the MAX series of songs.

* The version of MAX 300 found in beatmania IIDX and on the [[beatmania IIDX 7th style Original Soundtrack]] album is mixed slightly differently.

** This version of MAX 300 also appears on [[CS DDR PS3|the PlayStation 3 release of DanceDanceRevolution]].

** In the arcade version of beatmania IIDX 7th style, MAX 300 had its own unique title card. This was not carried over to any CS beatmania IIDX game.

* Retroactively, MAX 300's DanceDanceRevolution SINGLE EXPERT chart is the first to have a difficulty rating of 10 on the classic difficulty scale.

* MAX 300 received a BEGINNER chart in [[AC DS EuroMIX2|Dancing Stage EuroMIX2]].

* Despite the BPM being displayed in DanceDanceRevolution as simply 300, MAX 300 actually slows down to 64 in the middle.

** This video can be shown on any DanceDanceRevolution (2013) cabinet via hacking. It is displayed in the background of the MOVIE background dance stage's black variant and is not full-screen. Unlike the original DDRMAX video, the start of the background video transitions with clusters of pixels coming together to form the background, and then exploding into the main video. At the end, the video ends by exploding into pixels again to reform the background, ending the movie.  

** This video was removed from [[AC DDR 2014|DanceDanceRevolution (2014)]]. However, it was officially added in [[AC DDR A|DanceDanceRevolution A]].

*** Its original DDRMAX video is shown when MAX 300 is played from the [[DDR SELECTION]] folder. It is displayed in full-screen, eliminating all on-screen dancers.

* MAX 300 is unlockable in [[CS INFINITAS|beatmania IIDX INFINITAS]] from May 2nd, 2017, after purchasing its charts with [[CS INFINITAS/BIT unlocks|BITs]].

* According to Naoki Maeda, "MAX 300 was a pretty crazy song in several meanings. I personally meant it to be a challenge for the players, but as I learned more players were surpassing it by the day, I thought I had to stop making high-BPM songs since I was "defeated," but I didn't learn my lesson and kept making more of them around 300 BPM, heh." * MAX 300 was in consideration by [[Ryutaro Nakahara|Ryu☆]] to be added to [[AC RB groovin'!! Upper|REFLEC BEAT groovin'!! Upper]]'s ''BEMANI MUSIC FOCUS'' event as part of his set [https://twitter.com/RyutaroNakahara/status/1199655571894390784].

* In [[CS DDR DANCE WARS|DanceDanceRevolution DANCE WARS]], MAX 300's BPM was incorrectly displayed as 300-306. This was later corrected by an update.

* MAX 300 is an unlockable revival song in beatmania IIDX 30 RESIDENT's ARENA MODE. It could be unlocked from July 6th, 2023 to July 19th, 2023 by collecting 60 ARENA CUBES.
