''Ninnin shichikenden'' (忍々七鍵伝) is beatmania IIDX 24 SINOBUZ's second unlock event, which started on April 20th, 2017 and ended on July 2nd, 2018. The event appears in one player only. eAMUSEMENT is required to play the event. Ninnin shichikenden can only be selected in STANDARD. | |||
Before the beginning of any song in STANDARD, you will see a folder labeled Ninnin '''忍々七鍵伝'''. Accessing it takes you to the event itself (you cannot return to the regular song selection screen for the stage). What mode you played on carries over to the folder; difficulty levels are lifted. Upon entering the folder, players then choose a school, then a Dojo (流派) inside the school to unlock the song which represents that Dojo. Each Dojo is themed (e.g. a Scratch Dojo) and contains specific songs that fit the Dojo theme (i.e., the Scratch Dojo contains scratch-intensive songs). | |||

At this point, the player is given the option to raise any key rank corresponding to an active opponent to AAA (a key that is already at AAA can be chosen for this; if a choice is not made, one is randomly chosen). Players will then hurt the ninjas, the damage being directly proportional to the key's DJ rank. (If three Mystery Scrolls are used, all keys with a rank less than AA will be boosted to AA.) Defeating enemies will give the player the award the enemy is holding if they have one. Enemies may hold BUZZ (1000 BUZZ), NORMAL/HYPER charts, and a special item to increase the 忍気 meter by a third. The ANOTHER chart will only be awarded once all seven enemies have been defeated. | ||
Once the attack is finished, the player will return to STANDARD play for the rest of the credit (unless you're on the final/EXTRA stage). | |||

If playing a mode other than STANDARD (one player only), playing songs will increase a special 忍気 meter, which will make attacks more effective. The ''WEEKLY RANKING'' feature in beatmania IIDX 24 SINOBUZ | The ''WEEKLY RANKING'' feature in beatmania IIDX 24 SINOBUZ was added on November 30th, 2016. WEEKLY RANKING sessions last for a week, with Wednesday at 12:00 pm being the beginning and as well as the deadline in the successive week. Locked songs that appear as WEEKLY RANKING songs are available by default during that period. | ||
New to the version is the ''STAR'' feature. You earn a star (the day after a WEEKLY RANKING period for a song ends) if your score in the leaderboards for a specific WEEKLY RANKING song's chart is high enough. Note that stars depend on each song's chart, not on the whole song itself, which means you can earn up to three stars per Weekly song. | |||
In the | In the song list menu, a bar shows your WEEKLY RANKING star progress on the chosen Weekly song's chart; the arrow determines your current position in the leaderboards: | ||
* '''Bronze star:''' if the arrow is located in the cyan section. | * '''Bronze star:''' if the arrow is located in the cyan section (within 50% in the leaderboards). | ||
* '''Silver star:''' if the arrow is located in the gray section. | * '''Silver star:''' if the arrow is located in the gray section (within 25% in the leaderboards). | ||

* '''Platinum star:''' if the arrow is located in the very small blue section (top 10 in the leaderboards). | * '''Platinum star:''' if the arrow is located in the very small blue section (within top 10 in the leaderboards). | ||

General Information / Changes
- Theme: ninjas.
- First beatmania IIDX game released in the form of an online update pushed through the eAMUSEMENT network.
- New feature, PACEMAKER NEXT has been introduced; it's automatically set to suit your score.
- Lane covers can now be displayed on the score graph's background.
- DJ POINTS for each song you played are now displayed on the songwheel.
- New Ninja Rank points are obtained after each song. Rank points are separated by Single/Double play and broken down to the SINOBUZ folder and all LEVEL folders.
- FULL COMBO RATE is now shown in all modes instead of only HAZARD.
- CLEAR RATE and FULL COMBO RATE now show decimals, like in the SOUND VOLTEX series.
- New category introduced, ALMOST FULL COMBO CLEAR, for up to five combo breaks in a song.
- Currency in this version is called BUZZ.
- Two new modes, TIME HAZARD and TIME FREE. They both are timed modes similar to PREMIUM FREE, but are only available on specific days, cost the same as a regular credit, and can be paid with coins.
- First game with Normal Retry. Similar to Quick Retry but players can instantly replay a song after the results screen, without going through song select. Normal Retry is available on any TIME modes, including FREE and HAZARD.
- Daily Bonuses introduced: Every day of a week comes with its own menu BGM and menu background color, along with a daily bonus.
- Sunday (Brightness; grey/white) - One free DJ VIP PASS PLATINUM. BGM by 猫叉Master.
- Monday (Darkness; black/purple) - One free DJ VIP PASS BLACK. BGM by DJ TOTTO.
- Both are also available for non-PASELI enabled locations, including those outside of Japan.
- Tuesday (Fire; red) - TIME HAZARD enabled. BGM by 96.
- Wednesday (Water; blue) - TIME FREE enabled. BGM by dj TAKA.
- The title and the Game Over BGMs are based on the Wednesday's theme.
- Thursday (Wood; green) - One extra minute in PREMIUM FREE mode (for PASELI enabled locations only). BGM by HuΣeR.
- HuΣeR also composed the BUZRA ARTS EXTRA STAGE theme.
- Friday (Metal; gold/yellow) - BUZZ is given at a 24% higher rate. BGM by Sota Fujimori.
- Saturday (Earth; brown) - No level restrictions in STEP UP mode. BGM by L.E.D..
- As such, SINOBUZ has the most contributing artists to the system music of any beatmania IIDX game.
- Song information (Version/Genre/Title/Artist/BPM) in the song selection screen is now aligned to the right, above the ANOTHER difficulty panel.
- HELL CHARGE NOTE notation has been removed from the left of song names in song selection.
- However, like the CHARGE NOTE notation, HCN will still appear on the difficulty selection side.
- Titles of the new songs are written with a yellow font.
- All EXPERT COURSE -SECRET- and ピュラー (Pular) related unlocks in beatmania IIDX 23 copula are now unlocked by default.
- However, all hidden songs from copula's events (開通!とことこライン, Season Line, おてがる!!LINK TRACK, Mystery Line) are still hidden if you did not unlock them on copula.
- Hidden songs not unlocked can be currently be played with mystery scrolls (秘術の書, or Hijutsu no sho), which were added to the game on November 17th, 2016. They work the same way as Rainbow Tickets from copula.
- copula song unlocks can currently be purchased as of December 14th, 2016 with BUZZ using Kiran no omamori (金襴のお守り, "Amulet of Wealth") items.
- Mystery scrolls stopped being sold on December 10th, 2017.
- However, all hidden songs from copula's events (開通!とことこライン, Season Line, おてがる!!LINK TRACK, Mystery Line) are still hidden if you did not unlock them on copula.
- The result screen for ONE MORE EXTRA STAGE now shows "ONE MORE EXTRA STAGE RESULT", instead of "ONE MORE STAGE RESULT" from the previous versions.

- First beatmania IIDX arcade game to not have new BEGINNER charts.
- First beatmania IIDX arcade game to have a generic video (in the case, JAPANESEQUE) playing in the menu screen.
- Black Tran Medals introduced. They are secret in nature and their string names do not directly explain how you've obtained them, but only provide a vague reference to the completed achievement.
- First beatmania IIDX game since beatmania IIDX 5th style where the GAME OVER screen does not display the "Thank You For Playing" (or equivalent) tag.
- First beatmania IIDX game since beatmania IIDX 13 DistorteD to include kanji labels in mode selection screen.
- STEP UP mode uses the kanji previously used in the BEGINNER mode (初), whereas EXPERT mode's kanji is now renamed to 連, replacing the former kanji (極) which is now used for HAZARD/TIME HAZARD.
- The kanji for 連 was also previously used for Nonstop Mode in DanceDanceRevolution EXTREME.
- PREMIUM FREE's kanji is 時, referencing the time spent for a session. TIME FREE/TIME HAZARD retains its respective kanjis.
- FREE/TIME FREE's kanji was renamed from 練 to 修.
- Kanjis for the other game modes, STANDARD (基) and CLASS (試), were retained.
- STEP UP mode uses the kanji previously used in the BEGINNER mode (初), whereas EXPERT mode's kanji is now renamed to 連, replacing the former kanji (極) which is now used for HAZARD/TIME HAZARD.

BUZRA ARTS
BUZRA ARTS is beatmania IIDX 24 SINOBUZ's EXTRA STAGE system. For Japanese version machines, this only appears on PREMIUM START (which requires PASELI). The event began on December 1st, 2016.
BUZRA is a portmanteau of "(SINO)BUZ" and "Vajra". The songs are related to the seven SINOBUZ elements: fire, water, wood, metal, earth, brightness, and darkness. New BUZRA ARTS songs appeared as follows:
Element | Song | Date debut |
---|---|---|
FIRE | Rave Cannon | December 1st, 2016 |
WOOD | yamabiko (SINOBUZ Edition) | January 12th, 2017 |
EARTH | ECHIDNA | February 23rd, 2017 |
BRIGHTNESS | Beat Juggling Mix | April 6th, 2017 |
WATER | RAIN | June 8th, 2017 |
DARKNESS | INVISIBLE STRIX | August 3rd, 2017 |
METAL | Snakey Kung-fu | October 5th, 2017 |
The sum of difficulty levels, rank, and clear type are the main requirements to unlock a BUZRA ARTS song for EXTRA STAGE. All the charts are playable from the first day of a BUZRA ARTS song's appearance. RANDOM cannot be used. Once the condition is fulfilled, the graphics in the EXTRA STAGE will change to BUZRA ARTS, with a special background music played during the music selection screen. The conditions to access BUZRA ARTS change on the phase it is in:
Phase | NORMAL | HYPER | ANOTHER | ||||||

LAST ARTS update: From October 5th, 2017, BUZRA ARTS song charts can be unlocked by clearing them once (ASSISTED EASY, as of October 26th, 2017, works). Doing so also nets you a "Buzra Icon" related to the event songs, as well as Tran Medals. Obtaining all these icons on a specified difficulty will unlock the event's secret final song on that same difficulty as a ONE MORE EXTRA STAGE. Clearing it unlocks the chart for regular play.
When the ONE MORE EXTRA STAGE is accessed, all the Buzra Icons are lost and must be obtained again. You can get them by clearing the BUZRA ARTS songs again outside of EXTRA STAGE.

KOUJYO SINOBUZ DEN (攻城シノバズ伝)
攻城シノバズ伝 (KOUJYO SINOBUZ DEN) is beatmania IIDX 24 SINOBUZ's first unlock event. It started on November 17th, 2016, and ended on April 16th, 2017. It can only be played by one person only. eAMUSEMENT is required to start the event.
The objective of KOUJYO SINOBUZ DEN is to conquer castles from enemies. To do so, you must obtain Onigiri. Playing a song gives you Onigiri points. The amount of points depend on which mode you are playing:
- STANDARD / Dani nintei / HAZARD: 250 points (from one to four songs)
- STEP UP: 333 points (three songs)
- FREE: 500 points (two songs)
- PREMIUM FREE: 250 points for the first five songs, 20 for each additional song
- FREE PLUS: 500 points (three songs)
- TIME FREE: 500 points for the first two songs, 20 for each additional song
- TIME FREE PLUS: 500 points for the first three songs, 20 for each additional song
- TIME HAZARD: 250 points for the first four songs, 20 for each additional song
Using the 秘術の書 (Hijutsu no sho, purchasable with PASELI) will give you additional Onigiri points.
Inside the castle you can perform the following actions, each requiring 450 Onigiri points:
- Search: explore the castle to find enemies. Once the exploration rate of a castle is at 100%, you cannot use this command.
- Event: activate events you found during the search, such as items or enemy fights.
- Train: increases your attack power. Initial increase value is 20; after each training session, the bonus value increases by 10, up to 200.
Special actions:
- Annual contribution: every five minutes of not playing the game you earn one Onigiri point, up to 2000.
- Ninjutsu: magic scrolls obtained during the event. Each one can be used twice, and gives special bonuses for using them. Only one can be used per round.
- 剛 (pink): increases the player's current power by 20% until a castle has been fully conquered.
- 幻 (purple): decreases the enemy's enemy power by 20% for one battle.
- 気 (green): Onigiri cost for training reduced by 20% until the next action.
- 鷹 (cyan): decreases chances of missing attacks to the enemy for one battle.
- 貧 (white): decreases the strength of one castle boss (the gatekeeper) by 50%.
- 開 (cyan): decreases the resistance of the locked door by 50%, lasts until a door is destroyed.
- 解 (purple): decreases the resistance of the treasure box by 50% for one time.
Ninjutsu cannot be used in the final castle.
The command EXIT is used to close the event screen (same as when the time runs out).
Onigiri points obtained are lost when the player enters another castle. Events in the castles appear in specific points. The first castle must be cleared before you can access the other castles. The first four castles must be cleared for you to access the final one.
The following is a list of items that can be obtained throughout events in each castle:
FIRST CASTLE - 注都利阿流城
- NORMAL/HYPER/ANOTHER charts
- 2000 BUZZ
SECOND CASTLE - 蒼刃図城

- Go Ahead!!
Bronze Tran medals are obtained when you reach the first castle, when you reach 50% and 100% exploration rate for each castle, when you clear one event, and when you clear five events. Silver Tran Medals are obtained after clearing 10, 15, 25, 35, 50, 65 and 80 events, respectively. Gold Tran Medals are obtained after clearing 100 events and defeating castle bosses.

Ninnin shichikenden (忍々七鍵伝)
Ninnin shichikenden (忍々七鍵伝) is beatmania IIDX 24 SINOBUZ's second unlock event, which started on April 20th, 2017 and ended on July 2nd, 2018. The event appears in one player only. eAMUSEMENT is required to play the event. Ninnin shichikenden can only be selected in STANDARD.
Before the beginning of any song in STANDARD, you will see a folder labeled Ninnin 忍々七鍵伝.
The Dojos are as follows, along with their unlockable songs and the type of songs included in them:
- Fire school (炎雅流)
- Happiness Dojo (幸福道場): HAPPY★RUSH: Songs with "HAPPY" in the title, genre, or artist.
- Synth Dojo (シンセ道場): Honey Trap: Songs credited to Sota Fujimori.
- Melody Dojo (旋律道場): Piano Samurai: Songs with prominent piano melodies.
- Scratch Dojo (スクラッチ道場): ディッシュウォッシャー◎彡おいわちゃん: Scratch-intensive songs.
- Silver Dojo (白銀道場): 月雪に舞う華のように: Songs from pop'n music, or with either "SNOW" or "雪" in their titles.
- Legend Dojo (レジェン道場): GuNGNiR: Spada†leggendaria-related songs. Only appears when three Fire Dojos have been cleared.
- The one with the unusual flames (炎雅を極めし者): DORNWALD ~Junge~. Songs composed by DJ TOTTO. Only appears when all other Fire Dojos have been cleared.
- Lightning school (雷振流) (added on May 25th, 2017)
- 573 Dojo (五七三道場): BroGamer: KONAMI games-related songs.
- LED Dojo (江類出井道場): RISING FIRE HAWK: Songs credited to L.E.D..
- Techno Dojo (テクノ道場): Shoot'Em All: Songs with "TECHNO" in the genre.
- Dream Dojo (夢幻道場): AO-∞: Songs with "A" or "O" as the initial of their titles.
- Thunderwind Dojo (風雷道場): FUZIN RIZIN: Songs with either "Wind" or "Thunder" or "God" in their titles and artists.
- The one with the unusual thunders (雷振を極めし者): Caterpillar: Songs credited to Eagle alias. Only appears when all other Lightning Dojos have been cleared.
- Wind school (風巻流) (added on July 20th, 2017)
- Androi-Dojo (アンドロイ道場): Egret and Willow: Songs credited to Dirty Androids.
- Five Flower Dojo (五輪の花道場): Macuilxochitl: Songs from jubeat.
- Summer Dojo (夏色道場): Summerlights(IIDX Edition): Songs or artist names themed after summer.
- Household Dojo (家庭用道場): Warrior: Songs that first appeared in CS versions of beatmania IIDX.
- The one with the unusual gusts (風巻を極めし者): Quakes: Songs with "BREAK" in the genre. Only appears when all other Wind Dojos have been cleared.
- Shadow school (影月流)
- The one with the unusual shadow (影月を極めし者): Mare Nectaris: Final songs from past IIDX exclusive unlock events. Only appears when all other schools have been cleared.
After playing a song from a Dojo, players will move to another screen, where a seven-key keyboard is shown with different DJ ranks on each key, enemy ninjas appearing on each key.
This will be consumed the next time the player enters a Dojo. The following bonuses are available:
- STANDARD (with 2 players): 1/12 per song
- EXPERT/CLASS/HAZARD: 1/12 per song
- STEP UP: 1/9 per song
- FREE/FREE PLUS: 1/6 per song
- PREMIUM FREE/TIME HAZARD: 1/12 per song (up to four)
- TIME FREE: 1/6 per song (up to two)
- TIME FREE PLUS: 1/6 per song (up to three)
Clearing all four schools ends the event and nets you a Platinum Tran Medal.

EXPERT MODE
EXPERT mode was added to beatmania IIDX 24 SINOBUZ on March 16th, 2017. A handful of songs can be unlocked by playing their respective courses. For Dan courses, playing a SP course will also unlock the DP course's song of the same class and vice versa.
SECRET courses from beatmania IIDX 22 PENDUAL and beatmania IIDX 23 copula also return, with the same unlock requirements for their final songs, except this time around you don't have to clear the SECRET courses in order to unlock the songs; filling the gauge simply works.
With the addition of EXPERT mode, a new folder, CLASSIC CLASS, was added. The folder contains a selection of Dan inintei courses from previous games, from both AC and CS releases spanning from beatmania IIDX 7th style to beatmania IIDX 23 copula and beatmania IIDX INFINITAS.
Songs from Dan courses that have removed since its release have also been revived. In addition, the SP Kaiden course, which is taken from beatmania IIDX 14 GOLD CS, contains the original Kaiden-exclusive charts for VANESSA and KAMAITACHI, which have both been made † charts. As the Kaiden-exclusive charts for both songs were only available in Single, brand-new Double charts were created for them.
EXPERT Courses
The list only include new courses. INTERNET RANKING courses are colored in blue, while SECRET courses are colored in white. BMK2017 course is exclusive to Korean cabinets and only ANOTHER can be played on it.

Kinran no omamori (金襴のお守り) unlocks
Kinran no omamori (金襴のお守り) items were added on December 14th, 2016 to provide access to songs from beatmania IIDX 23 copula that were not automatically unlocked. 金襴のお守り can be purchased with BUZZ, and require the basic course subscription.
To see the complete list of purchasable charts/songs, please see this page.
今日のイチオシ (Today's Featured Songs)
Every day, on all SINOBUZ machines, three songs are marked as "featured". You can see which ones are marked in the Data Entry window or in the songwheel menu. Playing all three of them in a day will grant you 300 bonus BUZZ.
For the list of featured songs, please check the beatmania IIDX 24 SINOBUZ Today's Featured Songs List page.
WEEKLY RANKING
The WEEKLY RANKING feature in beatmania IIDX 24 SINOBUZ was added on November 30th, 2016. WEEKLY RANKING sessions last for a week, with Wednesday at 12:00 pm being the beginning and as well as the deadline in the successive week. Locked songs that appear as WEEKLY RANKING songs are available by default during that period.
New to the version is the STAR feature.
In the song list menu, a bar shows your WEEKLY RANKING star progress on the chosen Weekly song's chart; the arrow determines your current position in the leaderboards:
- Bronze star: if the arrow is located in the cyan section (within 50% in the leaderboards).
- Silver star: if the arrow is located in the gray section (within 25% in the leaderboards).
- Gold star: if the arrow is located in the yellow section (within 10% in the leaderboards).
- Platinum star: if the arrow is located in the very small blue section (within top 10 in the leaderboards).
