pop'n music 11's unlock system is called POP'N TOURIST. You choose one of 9 places to fly to, collecting miles via playing any mode in Arcade Mode to fly to them. After choosing your destination, you'll receive mail in-between stages alerting you of your progress. After a certain amount of stages, you'll unlock a song/character/mod/course. (Note that you can't leave and visit another area until after you unlock something.) Typically the higher the miles required for entering an area, the longer it will take to unlock an item. There are 51 items in all to unlock through POP'N TOURIST.
