When nine Result Stars are obtained, and FINAL STAGE is cleared, EXTRA STAGE will be played. Both players' stars are combined, and progress carries over to the next round if EXTRA STAGE was not reached. Each player can earn a maximum of three stars per song. During EXTRA STAGE, the [[DDR AC General Info|LIFE GAUGE modifier]] is restricted to LIFE4.
