General Information / Changes
- First DanceDanceRevolution title on the Xbox video game console.
- Game interface uses a very modified DDRMAX2 -DanceDanceRevolution 7thMIX- as its source.
- Similar to DDRMAX -DanceDanceRevolution 6thMIX- through EXTREME, jumps count as 2 steps for combo purposes. This would continue throughout all of the Xbox titles.
- Unlike the arcade/PlayStation/PlayStation 2 DanceDanceRevolution titles, there is no stage numbers. You can play as many songs as you like without pause or options set.
- First CS DanceDanceRevolution release with DLC, allowing you to download new song packs at $4.99 each.
- Song packs mostly contain old DanceDanceRevolution songs and new BEMANI crossovers never been seen in DanceDanceRevolution.
- DanceDanceRevolution ULTRAMIX is the only Xbox DanceDanceRevolution title to use the trademark songwheel used in many other DanceDanceRevolution titles.
