beatmania THE FINAL

Release Information

  • Release date: September 26th, 2002

General Information / Changes

  • Last title of the original beatmania series.
  • Several old songs were revived. In addition, almost all of the beatmania III new songs were added as well.
  • Due to memory limitations, movies are now displayed as a little box, with generic animations from various older beatmania games used. However, a few songs have unique little clips.
    • MISS animations were removed as well.
  • HIDDEN+SUDDEN now makes the notes briefly appear in the middle of the screen, as opposed to not appear at all. As such, the STEALTH modifier, which retains the old HIDDEN+SUDDEN behaviour, was added.
