English Translation
I'm not naturally very honest So don't make passes at just me For some reason you won't get very good results If you just try to tickle me My complexion isn't so great anymore, but you don't like it when I wear make up? Will you be really surprised if I just show up out of nowhere tomorrow? I'll throw away my supplicative pride And try one more time, driving carefully I don't want to bother the people around me, so I won't even speed People say I should stop being bad, but it's just a momentary change of heart Morning, afternoon, evening ... you can have your own time anywhere, right? Bye-bye to the person I've been 'til now I'm glad you've loved me so much, But I at least want some to be left over tomorrow Please give me the courage to go out into the company no more than ten minutes after I wake up tomorrow Let's go on a trip together; we can roll up our futons and carry them on our backs Then tomorrow morning at nine we'll arrive at the government offices, still asleep Then tomorrow morning at nine we'll arrive at the government offices, still asleep Ohh, hm! It's short, but that's the end

When I first got the demo, I thought, "This is a really subtly strange song", but the more I listened to it, the more it grew on me, and in the end I wanted to listen to it all the time. It's kind of repetitive and minimalist, but the anxiety in the melody line is just really great!! They said "we don't mind if you end up doing the arrangement, Haya-P", so I put in some raw guitar and shifted the rhythms around and was able to generally do whatever I wanted.
This song never actually changes speeds, but in the game it goes into 2x, and later 4x speed increases. This has its pros and cons, but maybe you can think of it as an experiment that's the antithesis of the recent hi-speed boom? Is there really that sort of spirit in it!? *g*
This is a comparatively long song (the longest we've had so far), but the song ends with the lyrics saying "it's short" ... I got to work on a song that's a miracle, in many ways. I hope you can forget about all your worries and just have fun with this song.

Character Info
Miss Akemi Koyama (herein referred to as Akemi) was originally designed for use in Dramatic in 6, but we used her for the song sung by Hitomi Horikawa of miu∽myu.
It seems that she was in a theatre group in school, but is now working as an office lady. It's a side of Akemi that even I didn't know.
Her name comes from when I made a print out of a picture and stuck it on a wall. Before I knew it, someone had written "Akemi Koyama" on it, so I went with that.
Later, an OL friend of mine mentioned that since coming back to the company she's been playing Pop'n every day, but she couldn't clear Touch Hyper. When I heard that, I made Pop'n one of Akemi's hobbies.
Hmm. When I put it all into words, it sounds like I made her kind of randomly! But I didn't really it was all on purpose I'm telling you the truth please believe me!
