• ヴェルヴェットバレット is currently Akehiro Hidaka's last original appearance in pop'n music.
• The character of ヴェルヴェットバレット was originally named ジャミロ熊井 (Jamirokumai), making a pun on "kuma" (Japanese for "bear") and Jamiroquai. It was renamed 熊井さん (Kumai-san) in the next arcade release, probably to avoid copyright issues. (Despite this, the original name is still viewable on the official pop'n music 19 TUNE STREET page for the song.)
  • ヴェルヴェットバレット is named "desjamiro" in the pop'n music data, as well.
