AC RB groovin'!!: Difference between revisions

Nintei Shiken is REFLEC BEAT's equivalent of beatmania IIDX's Dani Nintei mode. These courses are skill based courses and starts from 5th Kyu to Assitant Instructor (師範代) rank as of 6/6/2014. Upon clearing one of these courses, your profile will be updated with a plaque that correspond to the cleared course. Nintei Shiken courses allows you to select from 3 songs in the first stage, and 2 songs from the second stage. The third stage, however, will always be fixed. The rank you acquire from Nintei Shiken will affect 2 things :

*Rankings affect song selections for the first 2 stages (e.g. players ranked below 7th Kyu will not be able to access level 10+ songs till the final stage while players with 8th Kyu and above will be able to select 10+ songs in the 2nd stage)

*Due to the abolition of the grading system from limelight/colette, matchmaking now relies on the player's ranking.

Kentei Shiken are courses based on a theme. For example, the Qrispy Test contains songs written by Qrispy Joybox, the Long Test contains songs which focuses on Long objects and so on. These courses are not strictly skill based, therefore, the charts that are available for selection can range from level 5 to level 10+. As of 6/6/2014, only Kentei Shiken courses contain SPECIAL charts as well as new songs that must be cleared in order for them to be bought in the Reflec Shop.
