Live (ライブ) is GITADORA's main unlocking system. It allows to puchase songs using play points (pts), which can be obtained by playing and clearing songs. Higher ranks and medals will give the player more pts. The Live unlock screen appears at the end of the credit, unless all songs have been unlocked.


Since July 10th, 2013, songs from [[Metallic]] to [[Screaming Your Faith!!!]] can no longer be unlocked through the GITADORA app, and must be unlocked directly via the arcade game.  
Originally, to unlock Live songs, players had to play and clear the mini-games of the now-defunt [[GITADORA (Mobile)]] for iOS and Android devices, however, from July 10th, 2013 all songs must be unlocked directly via the arcade game.  


Once an event ended, the respective songs from those events can be unlocked once more as a Live unlock for 5000 pts each song:
A new Live song is added each Monday. As of January 27th, 2014, all Live songs can be unlocked for 1000 pts, with the exception of:
* From October 1st, 2013: [[jubeat-GITADORA-DDR no Triple Journey|jubeat・GITADORA・DDRのTriple Journey]] songs.
* [[Ama no jyaku|天ノ弱]]: 36000 pts.
* From December 19th, 2013: [[Shiritsu BEMANI gakuen|私立BEMANI学園]] songs
* [[Shining Wings]]: 18000 pts.
* From February 5th, 2014: Kore ga Anata he no Chousenjou!! (これがあなたへの挑戦状!!) songs.
* [[Fuyuiro|冬色]]: 9000 pts
* [[Kyoukienbu|狂喜宴舞]]: 4500 pts.
* From October 1st, 2013: [[jubeat-GITADORA-DDR no Triple Journey|jubeat・GITADORA・DDRのTriple Journey]] songs, 5000 pts each.
* From December 19th, 2013: [[Shiritsu BEMANI gakuen|私立BEMANI学園]] songs, 5000 pts each, save for [[Elemental Creation -GITADO ROCK ver.-]] which is automatically unlocked after a currently unknown number of 私立BEMANI学園 is unlocked.
