pop'n music 8 CS's unlock system is called Sugoroku de 8 (すごろくde8) (sugoroku is a Japanese children's dice/board game); it will appear after your last song in ARCADE. To access it, you must beat a certain condition in that round, which is random every round (i.e. using speed mods, fulfilling certain point requirements, etc.). Successfully doing so unlocks the game after that round of ARCADE. Playing the game is simple; you simply roll a die, and pop'n music character P-1 will then move to the amount of spaces it lands in. For every three spaces you land on, you reach one of 18 cities in Japan. Almost every city has one of three different types of unlocks: songs, courses, and characters.
