The central heroine of [[HinaBitter|HinaBitter♪]], Marika is a third year high school student at Tenjin Gakuen and the Saudade (サウダージ) music store owner's daughter. She is an upbeat, cheerful girl. She formed the Hinatabi Bitter Sweets to rejuvenate the Kuranogawa Shopping District. She's also childhood friends with [[Ibuki Izumi]], her best friend. Since she was little, she was involved in community activities such as cleaning and errands. Her eyes have the power to attract many people.  Her catch phrase is "I'm fine!" (大丈夫だよ). She plays the keyboard.
