== Profile ==

Akira Yokota is one of two members of Y&Co. (横田商会), along with [[Tetsuya Tamura]]. He is more commonly referred to as DJ BOSS. The two have collaborated together under the Y&Co. name since 1993, where they have done both a decent amount of work for BEMANI, as well as for avex trax artists like Ayumi Hamasaki. They also did the nonstop megamixes on the DanceDanceRevolution OSTs up to [[AC DDR Solo 2000|DanceDanceRevolution Solo 2000]], Akira then did most of them up to [[CS DDR FESTIVAL|DDR FESTIVAL -DanceDanceRevolution-]] and [[CS DDR STRIKE|DanceDanceRevolution STR!KE]]. Despite this, though, very few of the actual Y&Co. songs in BEMANI are actually composed by him - most of them are done by his partner, Tetsuya Tamura. This page only lists the songs he personally was involved with.
