*** From [[AC DDR A|DanceDanceRevolution A]] onwards, Idola is playable by default.

** In GITADORA OverDrive, it can be unlocked by clearing [[Amanojaku|天ノ弱]], [[BambooSword Girl|バンブーソード・ガール]], [[Gensoukei sekaishuufuku shoujo|幻想系世界修復少女]], [[Houkago stride|放課後ストライド]], [[Manemane psychotropic|マネマネサイコトロピック]], and [[Setsuna trip|セツナトリップ]] on any difficulty. It could be unlocked from June 26th, 2014 to July 31st, 2014.  

** In jubeat saucer fulfill, you must collect the reward stamps by unlocking all the five songs from the ''Smith Seminar Natsu no jin'' (スミスゼミナール夏の陣) event. It could be unlocked from June 29th, 2014 to February 16th, 2015.  

*** In [[AC jb prop|jubeat prop]], it can be unlocked by playing it as a BONUS TUNE from May 28th, 2015.

* Idola is Latin for "idol".

* In pop'n music, instead of displaying its character's portrait, Idola displays its jacket when selected.

* Idola was added to BeatStream on June 19th, 2014. Its MEDIUM and BEAST charts could be unlocked via the BisCo mail ''Happy Birthday!!（＞∀＜）'' in ''Takahashi-san Lab.''.

** As of December 3rd, 2015, these charts have been unlocked by default.

* Idola received a new title card on the July 16th, 2014 update of beatmania IIDX 21 SPADA, with the song name written in a different font and an acknowledgement to ''INTERNET Co., Ltd.'', the developers of the GUMI VOCALOID software.

* In ''ミライダガッキ FutureTomTom'', Idola received a new jacket, and Idola's artist is just credited to '''iconoclasm'''.
