* なんか変だ！ is the first in the long-running POWER FOLK series in pop'n music.

* A long version of なんか変だ！ can be found in the limited edition 12cm single [[Nanka hen da! ~from pop'n music 3~|なんか変だ! 〜from pop'n music 3〜]], as well in the [[pop'n music Vocal Best]] and Atsushi Shindo's [[Kimi wo kowashitai ~Triple Zero~|君を壊したい〜Triple Zero〜]] albums.

* A karaoke version of なんか変だ！ can be found in the [[pop'n music Inst Best|pop'n music★Inst Best]] album.

* なんか変だ！ marks Atsushi Shindo's first pop'n music song appearance, and the first song where Ash was the rival character.

* The CD referred by [[Katsuhiko Suzuki|Nazo2Suzuki]] in the song production information of なんか変だ！ is Masatoshi Hamada's second single, ''幸せであれ''.

* なんか変だ！ received a HYPER chart in [[AC pnm 10|pop'n music 10]]. This chart was never playable in a CS pop'n music release.

** However, graphical data of なんか変だ！ can be found in the [[CS pnm 10|CS counterpart of pop'n music 10]], which points that at some point of development なんか変だ！ (and therefore, its HYPER chart) was planned to be in the game.
