Doing the same on MAX 300 will then trigger the ONE MORE EXTRA STAGE, 革命, on 7KEYS. You cannot change any modifiers in-between stages.
 
Both of these songs are unlocked by default from beat#2 onwards, and the special EXTRA STAGE requirements can no longer be triggered (you can still obtain a normal EXTRA STAGE, however).

  • 5KEYS is now a modifier, instead of a mode.
  • First style with ONE MORE EXTRA STAGE.
  • beatmania IIDX 7th style is the third arcade beatmania IIDX game to be released the same day as an arcade DanceDanceRevolution title, in this case DDRMAX2. Several songs from each game appear in the other as a result.
  • First style with RETIRE, a fail where getting 50 POORs consecutively immediately ends whatever song you were playing (when it is played outside HARD gauge).
  • LIGHT7 mode now guarantees a minimum of two stages.
  • B4U received a slightly modified video.

EXTRA STAGE / ONE MORE EXTRA STAGE

To play the exclusive EXTRA STAGE song, you must AAA a flashing 7 using the HARD gauge on your FINAL STAGE. Doing this will unlock MAX 300 for play on EXTRA STAGE, along with changing the interface. Doing the same on MAX 300 will then trigger the ONE MORE EXTRA STAGE, 革命, on 7KEYS. You cannot change any modifiers in-between stages.

Both of these songs are unlocked by default from beat#2 onwards, and the special EXTRA STAGE requirements can no longer be triggered (you can still obtain a normal EXTRA STAGE, however).
