• Release date: July 10th, 1999

General Information / Changes

• Hideyuki Ono and Yoshihiko Koezuka make their BEMANI debuts.
• System BGM composed by Toshio Sakurai (save for the Results BGM, which was composed by Hideyuki Ono). It would be used up to GUITARFREAKS 4thMIX & drummania 3rdMIX.
• Compatible with GUITARFREAKS 2ndMIX, released the same day, allowing 13 songs to be played in a mode called Session Mode. These songs include:
  • Three GUITARFREAKS songs: Cutie pie, Happy man, and Hypnotica.
  • Five GUITARFREAKS 2ndMIX originals: Body Operation, HOLIDAY, JET WORLD, MR.MACHINE, and THE ADVENTURES.
  • Five drummania originals: Across the nightmare, Heaven is a '57 metallic gray, I think about you, Ska Ska No.1, and Ultimate power.
    • Unlike GUITARFREAKS 2ndMIX, these songs can be played without Session connectivity.
