 There are two types of courses, those being Nintei Shiken (認定試験) and Kentei Shiken (検定試験).
-Nintei Shiken is REFLEC BEAT's equivalent of beatmania IIDX's Dani Nintei mode. These courses are skill based courses and starts from 5th Kyu to Assitant Instructor (師範代) rank as of 6/6/2014. Upon clearing one of these courses, your profile will be update with a plaque that correspond to the cleared course. Nintei Shiken courses allows you to select from 3 songs in the first stage, and 2 songs from the second stage. The third stage, however, will always be fixed. The rank you acquire from Nintei Shiken will affect 2 things :
