+To unlock the songs, you need to defeat the phantom beasts (幻獣, ''genjuu'') that represent each song. To reach the phantom beasts, you have to move up throughout roads of 15 squares. To advance squares, you have to play songs which satisfy certain requirements (which depend of which phantom beast road are you taking).
+After advancing the 15 squares, you play against the phantom beast boss, however, you can't kill the boss in the first try. Once the boss has been fought at least once, you can challenge it again in normal play with any song by using the phantom beast radar (available under ONLINE PLAY on the song selection screen, it charges itself when playing). The bosses are weak to certain songs. Once the phantom beast boss HP is 0, you unlock its song.
