* Music Comments were removed.

* Song backgrounds were removed. Instead, generic animated backdrops are used.

* The Options screen was changed:

** Eight options can be set now: HI-SPEED, POP-KUN, GAUGE TYPE, RANDOM, HIDDEN, SUDDEN, OJAMA 1, and OJAMA 2.

** If one uses [[PASELI]], it's possible to continue playing even if their gauge is empty, though the game will mark the course as failed.

* Result screens now informs you if you went over or under your previous record in a song on the bottom right corner of the screen.

* First pop'n music game since [[AC pnm 9|pop'n music 9]] with no new pop'n music original song by [[Tomosuke Funaki]] on the song list.

* First pop'n music game since [[AC pnm 14|pop'n music 14 FEVER!]] with no pop'n music original [[Toshiyuki Kakuta|L.E.D.]] song.

* First pop'n music game since pop'n music 14 FEVER! to not feature a [[Sota Fujimori]] song on the default song list.

The [[PON no unmei jouka keikaku]] (PONの運命浄化計画) event started on December 24th, 2014, to commemorate the release of the [[Power Of Nature]] album. To unlock the event songs, you must obtain the different attributes of the "powers of nature" (自然の力). By increasing the attributes, you also increase the fate purification probability.
