beatmania IIDX VISUAL EMOTIONS 5 is a DVD release of various song videos from KONAMI's beatmania IIDX BEMANI series. It contains 24 songs, including all the CS songs from beatmania IIDX 11 IIDX RED CS and 12 HAPPY SKY CS. It also includes five songs from beatmania IIDX 13 DistorteD, all of which received brand-new videos for the DVD release. In addition, IIDX RED CS song eRAseRmOToRpHAntOM also got a new video. It was released on December 14th, 2006 as part of the KONAMI STYLE bundle of beatmania IIDX 12 HAPPY SKY CS Special Edition. All songs played on the DVD are their original soundtrack versions.

Trivia

• All the new DistorteD videos were later added to the arcade releases in beatmania IIDX 14 GOLD.
  • eRAseRmOToRpHAntOM would later appear in beatmania IIDX 13 DistorteD CS with its new video with it the following year.
• As the beatmania IIDX 14 GOLD ORIGINAL SOUNDTRACK album - which contains all the CS originals from HAPPY SKY on them - wouldn't be released until July 2nd, 2007, over six and a half months later, VISUAL EMOTIONS 5 was the only way to listen to the HAPPY SKY CS original songs in their OST forms until then.
