Release Information

• Release date: August 5th, 2020

General Information / Changes

• Heavily upgraded version of beatmania IIDX INFINITAS, with the following differences:
  • The game can now run at up to 120 Hz, similar to the beatmania IIDX LIGHTNING MODEL cabinets introduced with beatmania IIDX 27 HEROIC VERSE.
  • A redesigned interface, with new font for music levels.
  • New system BGM by HuΣeR.
  • R-RAN and ASSISTED EASY options.
• Like the original INFINITAS, the 2020 upgrade requires the コナステ (KONAMI AMUSEMENT GAME STATION, formerly e-AMUSEMENT CLOUD) service to run.
  • A monthly subscription costs 1628 yen/PASELI.
  • Despite this, you can still download the installer without a subscription, as the trial mode is now included in the main launcher.
  • The shortcut icon included after installation takes you to a webpage to then load either the trial or full version.
• All data, including scores, DJ POINTS, clear status, and BITs, transfer over to INFINITAS (2020).
  • All INFINITAS tickets from the original game transfer over here as well.
• Similar to SOUND VOLTEX III GRAVITY WARS コナステ, songs must be downloaded the first time you play them, including their charts, videos, and overlays if a song has them.
  • If movies are turned off, it will not download the video and overlays.
  • If a song has a generic video shared with a song already downloaded, it will not have to redownload it.
  • If playing a course, all needed data for all songs in the course will be downloaded before the first song starts.
• If a song requires BITs to unlock its chart, it's now listed right below that song, as opposed to the top center of the screen.
• BEGINNER difficulty is now available; however, these charts are only accessible in the ALL BEGINNER folder, similar to beatmania IIDX arcade games prior to HEROIC VERSE. These must be unlocked with BITs like other songs (sans default songs).
  • BITs cannot be earned from BEGINNER charts as they do not have clear lamp missions available.
  • They also aren't shown in the CLEAR or DJ LEVEL folders.
• New songs are labeled in purple.
• Songs were not re-rated from the original INFINITAS.

• HDD: 60GB or more
• RAM: 8GB
• VGA: 1GB or higher
• Microsoft DirectX 9.0C or higher
• Sound: Stereo, WASAPI compatible
• Resolution: 1280x720 at 60Hz or higher (120Hz recommended)

To obtain these songs, players must have the Basic Subscription and played standard Mode at least once during the month when the songs are added. Note that players that did not obtain the songs during the month will not be able to get them until they are made available for unlocking with BITs.

Music Pack Sales

KONAMI also sells music packs containing beatmania IIDX songs from beatmania IIDX 19 Lincle onwards. These songs cannot be unlocked through BITs.
The first pack costs 5071 PASELI; the others cost 6091 PASELI.

Trial Mode

Unlike the old version of INFINITAS, the main game client can be installed by any user logged in with their KONAMI ID. The webpage launcher includes an option to launch a trial mode of the game. Trial Mode allows the user to select a play side and play one stage from a choice of Elisha, SigSig, or 凛として咲く花の如く on BEGINNER difficulty only. All normal player options are available, and once the stage is finished, the GAME OVER screen will appear and the program will exit.
