- "Denjin Jaeger" is a mix of the Japanese word meaning "Robot" and the German word meaning "Hunter", hence the name means "Robot Hunter".
- The character of Denjin Jaeger is inspired by the 1974 television series Denjin Zaborger (電人ザボーガー), featuring a robot that looks quite similar to Denjin Jaeger and can (among other things) transform into a motorcycle.
