Hiroshi Takeyasu (born July 9th, 1966) is one of the earliest BEMANI artists, working in the original [[AC bm 1st|beatmania]] along with [[Reo Nagumo]] and [[Tomomi Ohta]]. He was a big contributor to pop'n music, and was the sound director of the first four arcade games. In 2001 he left the pop'n music team to go work as the music producer for [[AC DDRMAX2|DDRMAX2]] and [[AC DDR EXTREME|DanceDanceRevolution EXTREME]]. He returned to the pop'n music team again in 2003, where he stayed until his eventual departure from the series altogether.

Prior to working on beatmania, Hiroshi Takeyasu composed music for some of Konami's arcade/NES games, his work dating as far back with the company as the mid-1980's.
In 2000 Hiroshi left the pop'n music team to work as the chief music producer of [[AC PPP|ParaParaParadise]], then a sound supervisor in beatmania IIDX for [[AC 4th style|beatmania IIDX 4th style]], [[AC 5th style|5th style]] and [[AC bm 7th|beatmania 7thMIX keepin' evolution]], and then as the music producer of [[AC DDRMAX2|DDRMAX2]] and [[AC DDR EXTREME|DanceDanceRevolution EXTREME]]. He returned to the pop'n music team again in 2003, where he stayed until his eventual departure from the series altogether.


Hiroshi stopped contributing music to BEMANI after [[PnM AC 15|pop'n music 15 ADVENTURE]], though he continued to work on BEMANI albums as an A&R director until 2012.
