The central heroine of HinaBitter♪, Marika is a second year high school student at Hinatabi high school and the Saudade (サウダージ) music store owner's daughter. She is an upbeat, cheerful girl who formed the Hinatabi Bitter Sweets to rejuvenate the Kuranogawa Shopping District.

She's also childhood friends with Ibuki Izumi, her best friend. Since she was little, she was involved in community activities such as cleaning and errands. Her catch phrase is "It's fine, Really fine!" (大丈夫だよ、絶対大丈夫だよっ！). She plays the keyboard, and her eyes have the power to attract many people.
