* According to Yasi's video comments on more deep(ver.2.1), he kept the video as simple as possible after the negative backlash he got for [[SANA MOLLETE NE ENTE -B.L.T. STYLE-]]'s video from [[CS 4th style|beatmania IIDX 4th style -new songs collection-]], where he tried to mask Sana behind visual effects, silhouette, and negative colors, and instead got criticized for making her look scary and irritating.

* Though the charts are different, more deep(ver.2.1)'s Single BEGINNER and BASIC charts in the DanceDanceRevolution series have the exact same notecount.

This song is based on "more deep" that I wrote for the now nostalgic "beatmania APPEND GOTTAMIX" (released in 1999), rearranged it with a genre called 2STEP.

I didn't have enough time during the production of GOTTAMIX, so I quickly made it with basic equipment, and it stuck in my mind for a long time. (It doesn't means it's good if you have time to make it with good equipment, however...)<br>

He was from the same music school as me, and has been a catchy guitar player since then. He is currently very active in the major scene, recording and touring for artists such as Hikaru Utada and Misia!<br>

Well, when I saw him play amazingly up close, I suddenly felt weak and immediately told him, "Oh, I'm not going to play guitar by myself this time".<br>

Of course, the cute honey(?) diva "Sana" reprises and doubles the charm as the vocalist!<br>

I want to make a long version of this song someday for music CDs etc., so by all means, please listen to it again.

It's always a headache finding the right balance between the contradictory "club/dance progression" VS. "song progression with a story".<br>

It was a difficult delivery, but I somehow gave birth safely!<br>

The guitar by Suzuken (Kenji Suzuki), who is also active as a guitarist for artists such as Misia and Hikaru Utada, is very effective.

"more deep" is perhaps the most mature song I've sung.<br>

The original song was two years ago... time flies by so fast.<br>

At that time, I never thought these types of movies would be included in the home version of beatmania, from the pixel art movies in the 5-key beatmania.... This is when the PS2 was still a rumor.

Well, finally this time, I mean, I finally said... we have released it. The true face of Sana, the BEMANI diva.<br>

In my previous work, "SANA MOLLETE NE ENTE", some effects were overexposed for her to remain anonymous, but it received a poor reception for being "scary" and "irritating", so I tried to keep it as straightforward as possible this time.

I wanted to capture as much footage of Togo-chef's hands as possible, so I asked him to let me come along to the recording session.<br>

It feels like a rather long time ago now that I've created this video, and my memories of making it are fading, but...

Anyways, I didn't have materials or time to make the movie, so I forced myself to go to the studio and film the song's recording.<br>

There was something like a rough "aim" to show the behind-the-scenes atmosphere of an artist, but in the end, it became a movie with no twist whatsoever, so I want to take this opportunity to thank everyone involved and apologize.

Come to think of it, Sana's [[papayapa bossa|vocal debut]] in the [[CS bm|first PS version of beatmania]] in 1998 started half-jokingly, but I hope it will remain as a good memory for Togo and Sana, the driving forces behind it.
